Using Twitter Spaces for live audio conversations is quite simple. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
1. Open the Twitter app:
Make sure you have the latest version of the Twitter app installed on your iOS or Android device.
2. Start a new Space:
Tap on the compose tweet button (the quill icon) located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
You should see a new Spaces icon (it looks like three overlapping circles). Tap on it.
3. Start your Space:
Tap on “Start your Space” at the bottom of the screen.
You can add a description to your Space to let your followers know what it’s about.
4. Invite participants:
Tap on “Invite guests” to invite specific Twitter users to join your Space. You can search for people to invite, and you can also share the link to your Space so that anyone can join.
5. Start talking:
Once you’re ready, tap on “Start your Space” at the bottom of the screen to start your live audio conversation.
6. Moderate your Space:
As the host, you have moderation controls. You can mute and unmute speakers, remove participants, and manage who can speak.
7. Engage with your audience:
People listening to your Space can react with emojis and send messages.
8. End your Space:
When you’re ready to end your audio conversation, tap on the “End” button in the top right corner of the screen.
Remember, Twitter Spaces is only available for some users as it’s still in the testing phase, so if you don’t see the option to create a Space, you may need to wait until it’s more widely available.
